Concord Room
The Concord Room contains books, maps, documents, records, photographs, and ephemera that document Concord's rich history. Material does not circulate and is available for use in the Concord Room only.
Access
The Concord Room is available for use during normal library hours. We recommend that you contact the library ahead of time, at library@concordnh.gov, so that we can pull materials in advance of your visit. Upon arrival, you will be asked to fill out a registration form and leave a photo ID at the circulation desk. Please read the Concord Room policies (PDF) prior to your visit. Children between the ages of 13-17 may use the room as long as they are accompanied by an adult.

CPL Digital Collections
CPL Digital Collections provides access to items from the library's Concord Room that capture the rich history of Concord, New Hampshire. Included are photographs and paper-based materials that document local churches, businesses, schools, city departments, organizations, and more.
Time Capsule
Material from the 1965 Time Capsule has been placed in archival boxes, and is now part of the Concord Room collection. Two items (the wood fragment from the 1910 State House Dome and the marble fragment from the 1959 Boston & Maine Railroad waiting room) were placed in the 2065 Time Capsule which was reburied on November 7th, 2015. Documents from the Time Capsule were digitized.
